Migrating to Eclipse Internet couldn't be easier. If you are not already using ADSL (this is the type of broadband you get over the existing phone lines as opposed to a cable supplier) then you will need to check that the area you are in has an ADSL enabled exchange. You can check this by entering in your BT telephone number. If you do not have a standard BT phone line and only a cable supplied phone line, then you will need to contact BT first to install a standard phone connection. You can do this by clicking here.
If you are currently using ADSL then it is even easier! Once you have completed your Eclipse Internet order, everything that you need to get you connected will be sent to you in the post, prior to your activation date. So, all you need to do is the following:
- Get in contact with your existing Internet Service Provider (ISP) and ask them for your MAC code - this stands for Migration Authorisation Code. Your MAC code will be something like the following:
